Doggo Policy

Dogs are welcome at Limefield subject to certain terms and conditions detailed below. Please read them carefully. Agreement to pay our dog fee indicates agreement to the said T&C below:   

1 Rate of £25 per 3 day stay per dog is charged. £10 per 2nd dog and £10 per third dog. No large dogs are permitted – please check with us! 

 2 Dog bookings must, must, must be agreed with us prior to arrival . This is because the house can only accommodate a certain number of doggie friends at one time. 

3 Dogs must be on the lead inside the house in halls and staircases AND in the gardens. There is a park to the west of us where you can let your dog off the lead at your discretion. There is another park next to Howden House due north of Asda. Additionally there are plenty path ways in Livingston suitable for dog walking subject to local authority byelaws.  

4 Owners must bag all poo and take home or put in the grey wheely bins located in the rear car park.   

5 All damage to rooms (ie dog hair in beds and on chairs and covers, items chewed, items stained, decoration damage etc ) must be paid for along with cleaning of carpets and floors if damaged or fouled. All cleaning charges will be invoiced after departure. Where items can not be repaired or cleaned, owners will be responsible for all costs of full renewal of items or areas of fabric damaged both within rooms and common parts internally or externally.  Heavy cleaning costs for hair infested room starts at £30 incl vat.  

6 No dogs are allowed in the drawing rooms or dining room unless by explicit agreement with Management.   

7 Dogs must never be left in suites or bedrooms unaccompanied.  

8 Owners are responsible for control of dogs at all times and are expected to ensure there is no disturbance to other guests.  9 We love dogs as do many of our guests. However some people don’t like dogs and are allergic to them. Please be mindful if this issue!
